Brittany Pureese Pier is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana and the founder of BE Dance Studio by B.Pureese. Her passion for entertainment began at an early age with her singing, dancing, and acting. She began her dance training at the age of 3 at Shreveport Dance Academy. She has trained for 15 years and is proficient in the styles of in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Lyrical. She was a member of the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet Junior and Senior Company, as well as the Shreveport Dance Academy's Jazz Ensemble. She attended Captain Shreve High School, where she was a member of the Captain Shreve Gator High line for 4 years, serving as Co-Captain her junior year, and Captain her senior year. She then attended Louisiana Tech University and was a member of the Regal Blues dance team for 4 years before she graduated from Louisiana Tech with a Bachelors Degree in May 2015. Brittany served as a member of the Lady Mavericks Dance team for the ABA Basketball team the Shreveport-Bossier Mavericks for 1 year before the team relocated. She is a certified dance instructor for the Speed, Strength, and Agility Program (SSAP), a traveling summer dance program catered to all ages and levels of dance. She then decided to spread her knowledge and passion for dance by opening up a studio in Shreveport, BE Dance Studio by B. Pureese. She has been seen in the music video “Work It”, where Trina was the featured artist and she was a featured dancer. She values the technique and creative expression she provides at her studio for the children, and adults. The Black Ice Shreveport Dance Team is one of the highlighted programs recognized in the Shreveport area, offered to children ages 6-18 as a unique way to express themselves through community involvement, competitions, and showcases throughout the year. BE Dance Studio is proud to offer a unique array of classes that mirrors the class offerings of other studios in metropolitan cities.
